Fettler — Semi-Skilled 📍 Worcester area ⏰ Mon–Thu 07:45–16:30 · Fri 07:30–13:30 💼 Full-time, temp to perm contract 💰 £12.37 per hour Join the finishing team to fettle castings and metal parts prior to paint/machining. Work includes removing gates/risers/flash, grinding and dressing to specification. The role involves noise, vibration and dust — appropriate controls and PPE are provided. Key Responsibilities Grind, trim and de-burr castings to specification and visual standards Use hand grinders/linishers and local exhaust ventilation correctly Carry out basic visual inspection and complete simple paperworkSkills & Experience Required Experience in fettling, grinding or similar metal finishing Good awareness of safe working practices (LEV/RPE, vibration) Able to read simple drawings and follow quality requirements Strong attention to detail and housekeeping standardsWhat We Offer Stable hours with an early finish every Friday PPE provided and training on safe systems of work Clear quality targets and supportive supervision 📩 Interested? Apply with your CV and availability
